brings 20 plus years of experience in the Third Sector to CG Consulting. She has expertise in all aspects of management, including: strategic planning, training, volunteer management, diversity outreach, fund development, government relations, financial management, human resources, board development and communications. In her career, she has been a mission-driven advocate for underserved groups, with proven ability to build relationships, rally community groups and energize staff.
She has held positions including: Assistant Executive Director - Organizational Development and Public Policy for Astor Services for Children & Families, Hudson Valley and Bronx, NY; Executive Director, Interfaith HIV/AIDS Ministry of Danbury CT; Director, Wisconsin Interfaith in Action, Madison, Wisconsin, and Leadership Trainer for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) as well as project manager for the Wisconsin Council of Churches and programs affiliated with the Corporation for National and Community Service.
Melinda has been a featured speaker at state and national conferences including The Joint Commission’s (formerly JCAHO) annual national Behavioral Health Care conference. She was selected to participate in a special Advisory Committee for Charitable Choice - Indiana/Purdue University School for Public Policy. This year she will be a featured speaker at annual leadership conference of the Alliance for Children and Families and has been chosen to participate in the Summer 2012 public nonprofit sector doctoral consortium for the Academy of Management.

brings marketing, branding and leadership expertise to the firm’s mission. He spent twenty-five years in national marketing and advertising positions for several companies, including Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and BBDO Advertising. For eight years, he was a faculty member of the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he headed the graduate program in Integrated Marketing Communications for School of Journalism & Mass Communications.
Since 2000, he has been committed to Human Services, as Director of Communications for a national volunteer initiative of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, as a consultant and as a volunteer board member of two area human service non-profit organizations: the Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse of Dutchess County and Astor Services for Children & Families. He has served as the Board Chair of each of these two organizations.
Larry is a marketing and branding expert. This experience was the primary reason for his hiring by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. In addition to helping develop a national identity for the Foundation’s grant program, Larry worked closely with the individual sites across the country to facilitate branding that would leverage the national program, yet help create a strong identity for the local organization.
